EARTH AFFAIR - CHAPTER ONE / CD ALBUM
GILDAS PRAYER - FEAT. MORTEN HARKET

The Earth affair debut album was written & produced by Gulli Briem, a founder member of the teenage funkgroup Mezzoforte, who had massive success in the mid-eighties with the album Surprise surprise and the top ten hit single "Garden Party". In 2005 after days & months of intensive work, mostly in Shepherds Bush Starfield Studios, comes the first international release, the beautiful, tearjerking soulful world of Earth affair.
Recorded in London, Paris, Iceland and Norway in 2004. It features among others Morten Harket from A-HA who co-wrote and performs the song "Gildas Prayer" which is the first single of the album. The Earth affair debut album represents a groove mixture of jazz, hip hop & ambient influences from around the globe. Modern gypsy flavoured french, gregorian, norwegian voices and melodies create something that is rather unusual but oddly familiar at the same time. Also working with Gulli on the album are:

Flood (Producer and mixer: U2, Depeche mode, PJ Harvey)
Clive Martin & Sodi (Le Negresses Vertes producers)
Mathias Canavese (Le Negresses Vertes)
Voces Thules (The gregorian singers)
E-Berg (Producer Plastic Lions)
